Atid is a startup company founded in February 2021.
The word “Atid” means “future” in Hebrew, the main language of Israel.
With a pioneering spirit, we continue to challenge ourselves to open up a new era through cutting-edge science and technology.
In particular, our company possesses development and operational technologies for machine learning using language, speech, and visual data. We aim to facilitate communication and solve social issues through these technologies, providing new technologies and services.

About the Founder
Here is a brief introduction to the founder’s background.
Founder and CEO of Atid. Ph.D. in Engineering.
At the age of 17, he had the opportunity to participate in a tour of various parts of Israel. He was impressed by the national character that boldly challenged the development of barren desert areas and worked hard on greening movements with rich imagination and technical capabilities, and returned to Japan. At the age of 18, he decided to study in Israel. While working as a volunteer in a collective farm, he learned Hebrew, the common language of the region, and entered the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology to study the country’s cutting-edge science and technology. Despite facing significant barriers such as language disadvantages, economic hardships, and challenging academics, he graduated from the Computer Science Department with a Bachelor’s degree, thanks to the help of many mentors and friends.
After returning to Japan, driven by his desire to work as a bridge between Japan and Israel and to make the most of his language knowledge and software development skills acquired through hard study, he engaged in research on natural language processing, focusing on machine translation (automatic translation technology) at Nara Institute of Science and Technology, where he obtained his Master’s and Doctoral degrees.
He has served as a researcher at Fujitsu Laboratories and a visiting researcher at RIKEN, working on natural language processing and vision-language fusion research. While finding fulfillment in academic research and inter-company business, he founded Atid to address the challenges faced by people closer to home.
